Credits
Convilyn's pricing rule: file conversion is free; credits are used only for workflows that require multi-step AI reasoning.
1 credit = $0.01. Every workflow is quoted before it runs, and that quote is charged up front as a reservation. The final charge is then settled against what the run actually used — a cheaper run is refunded the difference, a costlier one is charged it. Every run also carries a hard spend ceiling, so no single run can run away with your balance.
What credits actually pay for
Credits are spent only when you run a Goal Lane workflow — a multi-step AI agent that reasons across a document or video, produces structured output, and self-validates.
Turbo Lane format conversion is free and unlimited: PDF → DOCX and MP4 → MP3 do not consume credits, on any plan. Those same free conversions can also run on your own machine in the Ainalyn desktop app; only cloud Goal Lane workflows draw on credits.
There are 16 AI workflows you can start today. They are priced from 15.1 credits ($0.15) to 318.85 credits ($3.19), and most commonly 150.025 credits.
Every one of those runs an agent for multiple iterations against a real document, so the price reflects model calls across the full reasoning loop, not a single prompt. The per-workflow prices are on the pricing page.
One price per credit, everywhere
A credit is the unit Convilyn meters AI processing in, and it is worth the same wherever it came from — a subscription or a top-up, on any plan. There is no cheaper credit and no more expensive credit.
Every plan has the same features. Plans differ only in how many credits they include and in the anti-abuse limits: upload size, concurrency, and storage.
Two balances, and only one of them resets
Credits sit in two places, and the difference matters at the end of a billing period:

A run spends period credits first, so the balance that expires is used before the one that does not. Yearly plans grant the whole year's allowance upfront rather than refilling monthly.
The Free plan works the other way round from a paid one: it includes no credit allowance, so its meter is a run cap held under a small monthly processing ceiling. Adding credits to a Free account at any time with a one-time top-up works exactly as it does on a paid plan.
Reading your ledger
Every grant, deduction, top-up and refund is a row you can see. A workflow run appears as one deduction at the quoted price — not one row per model call — so the ledger reads the same way the quote did.
Top-ups are a one-time purchase through Paddle checkout. They land in your wallet once the payment is confirmed; if there is a short delay, they are added automatically as soon as the system confirms the payment — no action needed.
What credits do not pay for
- Turbo Lane format conversion, in any combination.
- Logging in, browsing the dashboard, viewing past runs.
- Downloading invoices or managing your subscription.
- Webhook delivery and notification emails.
These are part of the platform itself, not metered.
